I think you have me confused with someone else Steve. I am on the far east coast, in South Carolina. However, I have KW V3s that I am looking to change out the springs on as well. I'm competing in SCCA STF class. As I am limited to a 225 width street tire, 700f/1000r springs would probably be too much and overpower the tire. I think a more conservative 500-600f/500-700r would be a better combo. If you are competing in STX or DSP in a MS3 or FSP on big Hoosiers in a MZ3, then those rates would be more applicable. As far as length, measure the front KW spring that came with kit and get the same length (no longer than that though). Rears will be tricky because the KW kit comes with a 3.5" ID closed end and pigtail end, which you can't find a direct replacement for. You will need to do some custum perches to get another (2.25"/2.5"/60mm closed both end) spring in there. The length back there will be dependant on what kind of perch setup you do.

    Morning,

I going to try different spring rates other than what come with my KW V3 coilover kit. What rates would you recommended to start with? If I read it correctly your running 700lb front and 1000ln rears? What length springs are they?
Thanks and see you the 2013 SD Torus and El Torro Pro!

    Steve Coe
