So we can't get around the AutoAnything ad, and I have a hell of a time getting RIP to always see it... and I see we now have a floating ad for CarID in the opposite corner.

Friggen awesome.

Pretty soon the site will be completely unusable because all the buttons will be blocked by ads. The only people posting will be tapatalk users.

Yeah, no, that's perfect. Right there.

Can't we add a huge empty space to our footer.php for the ads to sit in, since they're set to an absolute position relative to the page dimensions?

looks like you are on an android device. Hmm what browsers are you other guys using? In IE and Chrome they don't cover up anything. However in Waterfox they are annoying as hell. I wonder if it might be our add-ons. Speaking of add-ons there should be a way to block them. Yea that'll show 'em!

As if ads weren't annoying enough, but when you block links that the forums need to function...that's just stupid. =_=''

These ads block links on the all-powerful Chrome too. It's a bitch trying to get to stuff behind the ads.

Let's just start new threads before old ones go to a second page!

You think that's bad, they block about half of my mod buttons so I have a hard time moving spam and stuff. I think they only set the ads up to be out of the way for IE8 or whatever the latest IE is. At work we have IE7 and they are all over (the ads). At home I use Safari with ad blocker and that helps.

You can block them in chrome (desktop chrome) with ad block. Just right-click on the ad and go to the ad block options. You'll have to do it several times to block the entire thing. I blocked all but the bottom sections, so I can still see that they're there, but they don't obscure any buttons or fields on the site.

I ended up having to disable adblock because I previously deleted the nodes for the autoanything ad and it kept it in the background but wasn't visible so it would still be in the way.

Thanks to halo0 it seems to be working by just blocking the elements that obscure the page numbers and buttons but not block the entire ad.

I don't understand... this shit is not going away at all. Running Chrome with Adblock plus... it's getting so fucking annoying. It also covers part of the bar under your username where the Paypal - donate thing is.
